Lake Pointe Church has an Adoption & Orphan Ministry. Last weekend they held an Adoption & Foster Care Conference. Samantha attended it with me since Robert had to work. It was a very informative and motivating conference. The highlight of the conference was the keynote speaker, Emily Chapman Richards (daughter of Steven Curtis & Mary Beth Chapman).
She delivered a very touching, heart wrenching speech. Afterwards Samantha and I were lucky enough to tell her thank you and give her a hug. A nice lady was standing nearby to take a picture for us! We were thrilled!
