I'm trying to get the hang of loading the pictures through email. I switched cameras this morning to see if the smaller file size would help with the loading, We slept pretty good last night. We did a good job of pacing our sleep on the plane so that we would be ready for night again when we got here. We finally saw sunlight in 24 hours when we woke up this morning. It was crazy living our night time on the plane and then living China's night time when we arrived. We feel pretty rested and ready for the day. We navigated our way to breakfast in our hotel this morning. We first went and exchanged some money and then went to eat. The food was tasty. There were some familiar things as well as unfamiliar. The smog is pretty bad here. Although it is day time and sunny, it is not actually sunny. There is a thick layer of smog hovering. From our hotel room, we can see the highway. There are cars and also electric mopeds...even though it is freezing out! Last night on the way to the hotel from the airport there were scooters in the dark, on the highway, going against the traffic, in the 20 degree weather!! Something we are not used to! We go back to meet our guide and travel group at 12:45 this afternoon. I figured while I had a chance I would do a morning update. That will help me add more detail and not be skipping it because I am to tired. It is 10:39am on Thanksgiving day here as I am typing this =)

I am glad you were able get some rest! I am excited to read about your Thanksgiving Day abroad!!
It is so good to see your faces and know that you are really ok! We are thinking of you and are so grateful for your updates...what a Thanksgiving you will never forget. The story you will tell your sweet girl will always bring a smile to her face as she celebrates Thanksgiving many years to come. Blake looks so comfortable in his new surroundings! So glad he is getting to experience this with you!

James just came to tell me you updated your blog, I came running to my laptop in the living room.....it's 11:30 pm here, we just got Jaden to bed...he got to take his first bath since surgery (2 weeks) he had some really stinky feet...bed baths just don't cut it.We got some really great news today at his post-op surgery follow-up and don't have to go back for 3 months....Our surgeon told us that we needed to enjoy some time away from the hospital and celebrate the Holidays apart from them....We have so much to be thankful for....Happy Thanksgiving all the way from Kentucky...We agree with everyone about having this story to share with Brynn in the many upcoming years....We are so thankful to have you guys in our lives....Your faith through all this is Super Great and God is gonna bless you beyond measure!
