Adopting a child won't change the world, but for that child, the world will change.

Passports

Today we went to get our passports. Although we won't use them for several years, it is required as part of our dossier paperwork to obtain them now.

This weekend we are going to focus on finishing up our home study application and questionnaire.

Now that we have the 50 page dossier guide we know exactly what forms we need and how they need to be notarized. Monday we are going to send off for certified copies of our birth and marriage certificates, make our appointments to get our physical exams (we have a special form we have to provide and get notarized in the office), get our police clearance reports, and we should be receiving our verification of employment.

We are moving into the 2-5 week mark of our Dossier Timeline. So far we seem to be on track.

Congrats. You all will definitely be on the prayer list throughout this journey!!! So, odd...I had always said myself if we were to have anymore children I would love to adopt a child that needed a good family instead of going through pregnancy again. May God bless you all!
