Our LOA (Letter of Acceptance) has arrived! Day 39 of the wait and today was our day! This is a huge step in our journey! Our dossier has moved into the Match Room and has been matched with Qian Ai Xin's file. Our agency is sending this document overnight for us to sign. We will sign it and send it back to them overnight. They will forward it on to China for us. We have one more immigration procedure at this point and then we will be put in line to wait for China to issue our Travel Approval!
Travel Packet 2 is the only packet connected with a "milestone" in the adoption process... and we got it today!!! Whoohoo! The following is the first sentence of our email from the travel department...
Congratulations on receiving your Letter of Acceptance and welcome to Travel! There is quite a lot of paperwork to work through in the next several weeks so please read this email thoroughly.
My favorite part of that sentence is "welcome to Travel". The part that does not excite me is "quite a lot of paperwork". Paperwork is my least favorite thing... especially after the mounds we have already completed! If it means getting us to China to bring Brynn home... then bring it on!!
And the big question is WHEN???
At this time we do not have a very accurate estimate of when the Travel Approvals will arrive after your Letter of Acceptance is received at the CCAA. However, we do hope for you to travel to China within the next 11-15 weeks.
